Cheers

Happy New Year!

Snow Days

While in the frigid weather, we took the girls and went sledding. It was actually quite enjoyable. Lucy slept for most of the time in her pink marshmallow suit. Annie went down the hill twice (once voluntarily and once by force). Leah loved it and went down the hill many times.

Christmas

We stayed home for Christmas this year and then went to Utah the following day. We had a great time. Brian's mom and dad came down to help us celebrate. We were spoiled and I think my girls were pretty pleased with the things that Santa left for them.

Slacker

I have been informed that people have been checking my blog only to find nothing new, so I will try and rectify the situation. At the beginning of December, I ran in the Great Santa 5K Run in Las Vegas. All participants got a Santa suit to wear while running. It was quite fun to be part of such a big event. It was a bit difficult to really break free and run because there were so many people, but the atmosphere was super fun. It was definitely something I will attempt again next year and hopefully I will be able to recruit more peeps to join the fun.

Great is Eight(y)

Brian's grandma turned 80 years old today. She didn't want a bug fuss, so hopefully she won't be too mad that I put up a post about her. Charmaine is fantastic. She is a super grandma and great grandma. She makes a special cookie for each grandchild and is a terrific cook (everyone gains at least 5 pounds with each visit). My girls adore her and we are so glad we got to help her celebrate her big day! Happy birthday Great!

Halloween

We had a super fun Halloween. We went to our ward's Trunk or Treat on Thursday and then went to St George for the holiday weekend. We had lots of fun. Leah was a Wildcat cheerleader, Annie was a chef (I decided that one, but it was so cute, I couldn't pass it up), and Lucy was a bumblebee.

Pumpkins

Our girls decided that they wanted to paint their pumpkins instead of carve them, so that is what we did.
